Me & BLACK RYNO & SEAN STORM......

JAH VINCI

BOUNTY KILLER

O.K were do I begin, but the top...
Big up to my girl Syn who over slept and left me to fend for myself in the mayhem... In the end it is "I" who got the last laugh because what happened tonight was legendary... Let's Begin!!!
I got to venue approx 2:37am and at that time there was a very light ring of people round the venue (not a good sign...)
Jabba started to play and brought a vibe in what was a very dismal situation... (Massive B to di world!!!)
After that few more came in, just enough to make the ring around the dance floor a little more full...( Vibe was good still...)
Don't ask me what time exactly the show started (I was well under a meds at this point! =0) all I can say is it had to be close to 4am!!!
Damn!
Why does there have to be sooooo many dam local artist performing?
Get mad at me if you want but the people did not pay to see you!!!!! Promoters need to screen the early acts and stick to the top 2-3 no more no less!!! Just cause you D.J in your cousin basement studio (not that nothing wrong with it still...lol) but that doesn't mean you are worthy of being an opening act!!!! (Croooooss!!!)
You need to earn the right to perform as a local artist!!!! Not because you know the promoter... Majority of you (you know who you are) are a "WASTE OF PATRONS TIME"
But I respect your desire to try start somewhere.... But having said that, back to the show!!!
So anyhow after like 10 different "Upcoming" artists (maybe 3 were any good *ugh*) they say, "your time Diva" now, as I was instructed I was told to bring up Jah Vinci and Black Ryno...
Feeling good I ran out in my size 10 Steve Madden's and did one Biiiiiiig Ol' intro for Jah Vinci!!! (I mean I made myself a little proud) called up one of my favorite artist out of the Portmore Empire "Jaaaaah Vinci" and then............................
MuthF$#@!@ they bring up Omeil.... *Kiss teeth* WTF!!!
Not gonna Lie Omeil did her thing, she actual was quite good but with so many mishaps with the D.J, the lack of crowd, over-dosing on local love, people just wanted the main event!!! Straaaaiiight!!!
So anyway, After Omeil Jah Vinci comes out with "Wipe Your Tears" and truly gave the crowd some good vibes a definite strong start...
and then.................
In runs BLACK RYNOOOOOOOOOO Bap Bap Bap!!! Crowd goes crazy and the two commence to slaughter the crowd with hit after hit!!!
But when they started to touch on the war songs and even start the war of words directed to the Alliance and Killa!!!! That, ... is when the mayhem Happened....
One man goes up to the D.J stopped all the music and 1 biiiiig ass crew of men just formed a wall on the stage forcing Ryno and Jah Vinci off... (Damn, Damn, Damn!!!)
But while I was trying to be nosy and see where the Empire Exited to...
All of a sudden I heard "Yooooowww" The Biggest Baddest Voice In Dancehall!!! Bullet! Bullet! Bullet!
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!!!!!! Bap Bap BaaaaaaaaaaP!!!!! Pandimonium in Amuzura!!!
It was Bounty, ready to perform, he laid in on the crowd with hit after hit but somewhere in the end, after about 20 min or so he seemed to have lost his vibe and swiftly exited off the stage...
Patrons were left in front of stage looking in shock and irritation that this is how the night they were so excited for....
Went and got hair and nails done for, use the rent money fi buy dress for, borrow your bredrin good Jacket for!!!! Spent good good money for!!! All of the hard work and this is how it would end??? To be honest it was a good performance until the end... Like bad sex... It ended "Dry!!!"
My Thoughts; I am dissappointed in the lack of patrons, but after speaking to quite a few individuals I gathered that the promotion "may" not have been as strong as it should of been...
But being that it was Jah Vinci's first time on New York stage I truly hoped for the best...
Now a close insider told me that while Jah Vinci was performing Bounty Killer was overheard saying "how he is doing good" and gave nothing but kudos to this young budding artist...
From what I also get to understand is "allegedly" it was know in "certian circles" that if these young artist disrespect the "elder" their performance was to cease...
Wether this was know by Jah Vinci & Black Ryno before their performance is still unclear....
But all seem to agree if it had not been for the disrespect of the "Grung Gawd" that small incident would not of happened...
Now before I left the venue the big topic was should Ryno and Vinci as young artist "Stay Clear Of The War?????
Or "Is All Fair In Music & War???"
One thing is for certian, this will not end here... As we role into another "Sting" season the wars in dancehall Continue....... (Help us all..*Kiss Teeth*)
O and in case you cared, NO RON BROWNZ..... But here is his video for your viewing!!! "POP Champagne"
