Well it's been interesting this week... Let's recap somethings shall we! Let start with the ugly... After years of friendship and growth it seems longtime pals Movado & Foota hype have gone their separate ways... Now many have asked me my thoughts on this sad situation and well here you go!!! Honestly I think this is a private matter, these two have been with each other through thick and thin... Gone to jail for one another stood by each other when they needed each other... When no one was taking a "real interest" in Movado's career (Including Mr. Dad) It was Foota who took him to Daseca studio voiced "Real Mckoy" and took it to the road!!! When Foota was down and Movado was doing well as an artist he would help Foota... But somewhere as time went on people change... whether for good or bad they change and that is life! At the end of the day their friendship runs deeper then any of US outsiders (or better yet, YOU outsiders) Will ever understand!!! S...

Well some of you may have heard... (some of you won't care) But it seems winner of Jamaica's "Magnum King and Queen's of Dancehall" Competition "Poor and Boasy" who's real name is Omar Johnson was wanted by police for questioning in regards to a stabbing that occurred at Aenon Town Primary School... Now just a few weeks ago Dancehall Diva D'Angel was in a near fatal car crash... When on her way in from a show a vehicle ran right into the passenger side of her BMW... DAMN!!!! To make matters worse, that just so happened to be the side she was actually sitting in!!! But now here we are less then a month later and her store "Angel's Boutique" has been ROBBED!!! OMG! According to D'Angel around 10 am Three armed men entered her shop, tied up her sales associate and proceeded on a shopping spree of Shoes, Clothes and "Handbags"... WTF Really? Soooooo a few years back "Seh Dem A Gangsta" was a HIT!!!! (With my help... it's true ask him) Erupt's name was on everyone's lips... Who is this artist? Everyone wanted to know! At that time he was a young come up who was taken under the wing of Bi Bi Gardner, (The sexiest man in Soccer, Beckham who???) Somewhere after, this song became the biggest summer hit but there was a major rupture between this young budding artist and the well respected (and obsessed about) Baller!!! Some say Erupt got hype before his time, some others say.... well, never really heard another side. Hmmmmmmm any-who!!!! (I truly hope that is as far as it goes...)  You know I am honestly tired of this crap between these artist...  They say Alliance was cause of this next outburst from Kartel but I say "Who Cares" get over yourselves.... All of you... Kartel you are one of the baddest Lyricist's (Next to Busy... yeah I said it!!!) Movado you have some of the strongest vocals...  Kartel can't do what Vado do and Vado can't do what Kartel do... So can you both just do yourself!!! (I mean that in the most non-sexual way...) Seriously the damage that has been done to dancehall is great enough can we focus on making it better instead of focusing on a next man... Why are ya'll fixated with each other so much anyway? Well Tongues have been wagging about a marriage between dancehall artist Wayne Marshall and Tami Chin... But is it true??? O I soooo hoped so, but after talking to Mr Marshall he says "no wedding bells........ yet" Hmmmmm Yet?  He did not confirm if that yet included Ms Chynn (Love her!!!) Well people this is that still unconfirmed relationship we all love to follow.  ( aaaaah romance, or no romance smh)  But one thing is clear wether they are in a official relationship or not, the chemistry is definitely there.... This is madness... Why? What could he have done to deserve that? He is a kid, Maybe misguided... Maybe Mischievous but he is a kid!!! WTF!!! How Can they do this? What are the rules to screening officers... Do they not have kids? OMG! OMG! Why?

Well after this circulated all over the net, people voiced their outraged at not only the ridiculous turn dancehall has taken but at the fact the D.J could be so cold and calluos (maybe it was shock that caused the assinine behaviour) well any hoo, The girl is not dead she actually survived that "Dance" (if that's what they call it) and claims she will never stop "dancing." Well as you may or may not of heard dancehall artist Konshen's was filming his lastest video for the song "She's Happy" when in the middle of a "planned stunt" something went hella wrong... According to what they say his brother Delus was playing a police officer and was to apprehend Konshens, but when they began the "Staged" Tussle, a little too much force was used by his brother and Konshen's got forced a tad bit too hard against a store front window (not on purpose... I hope) causing the glass to shatter (o Snap!!!) well glass went everywhere including around his face area... They said some even went into his eye!!! (damn, damn, damn) but he is o.k and after seeing him at the Celebrity Soccer Match on Monday the face & eyes look fine! Dancehall has been synonymous with "Bootleg Videos" it has always been know that about 80% (and I am being nice) of the videos you see are cheap, cheezy, corny and lack imagination... Reasons being: 1: Lack Of Funds 2: Bad & Unprofessional Directors 3: Artist Spend money labels allot for videos on everything but the video 4: Lack of imagination For the most part videos have been a cut a paste deal a 3year old can do! *ugh* but with the rise of people like Rass Kassa, Jay Will and even more the all girl Director Group Scorpio 21 Video's in Dancehall have begun to take it too that next level... (Finally) I just hope they keep it up...  What artist need to realize is that your video "can" make or break the song, so take it serious don't joke it out... Well this is my first blog and I must say I am crazy excited... My brand new site, living in a brand new place, working on a brand new station and feeling a brand new vibe. For those who don't know me they call me Nikki Z aka "The Diva." Why the Diva? Well I don't exactly do what is expected of me... I do me!
